Having recently completed his debut novel, My Paranoid Life – a dark-hearted satire on the isolation and shallowness of modern life and why celebrity isn’t what it used to be – Dan’s currently working on a sex, drugs and alimony memoir provisionally titled Dope, based on the hapless misadventures in America of one of his oldest friends. In the meantime, Dan’s collaboration with TV chef James Martin, Driven, which charts Martin’s life and career through his obsession with all things automotive, was published in November. A second novel, 33 Storeys, is also in the works.
