33 Storeys – A Novel
Dan’s recently completed debut novel, 33 Storeys, is a darkly atmospheric account of a life spinning out of control, relived by its central character as he falls to his death from the top of an East London office block. Pieced together from 33 individual memories, one for each floor that he drops, it tells of the excess, expectation and loss which took him to the edge and the obsession which sent him over it.

A celebrity memoir with a twist, it charted Martin’s life and career not through cooking, but through his overriding love of all things automotive, to reveal a side of the chef turned presenter rarely seen on Saturday Kitchen.
